Prescription Drug Abuse Investigation

 This course provides a national overview of prescription drug abuse and diversion. Topics include

DAWN and NSDUH – two Federal database on drug abuse, the Controlled Substances Act as it

applies to prescription and controlled substances, general overview of prescription drug crimes

and their victims, targeting, investigating and reporting of these offenses. Several case studies

are reviewed during the program. Students are also given an information packet containing resource

materials on diversion of prescription drugs.

COURSE LOCATION:  Gallipolis  Holiday Inn State Route 7 north Gallipolis.
