Gallia County Sheriff’s Office Investigates Shooting

Greenfield Township – Gallia County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to the scene of shooting

late Tuesday evening around 10:20PM. Gallia and Jackson Co. Deputies along with Officers

from Oak Hill and Rio Grande responded to 1531 Shaffer Rd. and found three shooting victims

from an apparent neighbor dispute.  Two males were transported from the scene to Holzer Medical

Center ER in Gallipolis. One Male Dustin Lennex age 22 of Greenfield Twp. Gallia Co. was

pronounced dead at the scene by the Gallia County Coroner.  Sheriff’s Detectives along with

“Ohio BCI & I” agents are investigating the scene and interviewing witnesses. The Sheriff’s

Office at this time has one person in custody for questioning , all of the parties involved in the

incident have been identified.  The incident remains under investigation.
