Sheriff’s Office range re-qualifications

 Dear Special Deputy,

   We conducted our annual Sheriff’s Office range re-qualifications on Sept. 16 – 19, 2009.  Many of you

were not able to attend this session so I have scheduled a make up session on October 17 & 18, 2009.

   The start time will be 08:00 and the session will end around 5:00PM each day.  This will be the last range

day this year. If you have a conflict with attending one of these dates please contact me at 446-0734 so

we can make other arraignments to keep your commission validated with OPOTC.   If you are employed

or otherwise qualified with another agency you will need to follow up by sending a copy of that agencies

qualification sheet to Chad Wallace.  On December 1, 2009 I will be sending the agency training report

to OPOTA.  Any employee or commissioned person who is not in compliance with OPOTC training

requirements will force the termination of that commission with this Office.   

   If you have any questions about the Ohio training requirement please contact me as I hope to keep

every ones commission in tact and ready for service.
