Snow Emergency Issued

Level I Snow Emergency Issued by Sheriff Browning

01-27-09 -- On January 27, 2009 at 4:22 AM Gallia County Sheriff Joe Browning issued a

                    Level I snow emergency.  At 10:00 AM the weather and road conditions advisory

                    was upgraded to a Level II.

                    Level II means:  Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads

                    are also icy. Only those who feel it is necessary to drive should be out on the

                    roadways. Contact your employer to see if you should report to work.

                    If the weather pattern persists, we anticipate upgrading this snow Advisory after dark.
