Agencies Combine for Drug Seizure

  On February 12^th, 2009 the Gallia County Sheriffs Office, Gallia/Meigs Highway Patrol and Gallipolis

Municipal Court Probation Department seized 123 Oxycontin pills in various dosages. Also seized was

$2955 and a firearm. The search was done at a residence in Gallipolis Township. The names and addresses

of the targets in the investigation are being withheld as the investigation continues. Hopes are that more drugs

and cash will be seized in the immediate future.

The street value of the Oxycontin is $8880.00
