Deputies Make Drug Arrest

  Sheriff Joseph R. Browning reports that Detectives made yet another drug arrest during the late evening

hours today. Arrested was Taurean T. Ramsey 31 of Columbus, Ohio.

  Sheriff Browning states that Detectives received information that Ramsey was transporting drugs to Gallia

County to sell. Detectives followed up on the information by conducting surveillance which led to the stop of

Ramsey. During the search, an undisclosed amount of crack cocaine was recovered. Two search warrants

were executed as a result of the seizure and the investigation will continue.

  According to Browning, the Ohio State Highway Patrol assisted Detectives with the stop and search

of Ramsey. Ramsey is being held in Gallia County Jail awaiting an arraignment in Gallipolis Municipal Court.
