Gallia County Sheriff’s Office Probes Robbery

Gallipolis – On 11-29-09 The Gallia County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Pizza Plus restaurant
located in the Spring Valley Plaza in Green Township.   The call came in at approx. 7:50 PM.  Responding
deputies were told that an unknown white male wearing a ball cap and a camouflage jacket, jeans and boots
with a white cloth material was covering his mouth and nose areas. The assailant pulled a knife and
threatened the employee and fled with an undermined amount of cash. The suspect is described as being
5’09 to 6’00 Ft. tall, 180-200 Lbs. with light brown hair. The offender fled in an older model S.U.V
type vehicle, gray in color, with another male in the vehicle. The vehicle fled on Jackson Pike toward SR 588.  

This is the latest in a series of armed robberies to occur in and around Gallia County. The Sheriff’s Office is
asking the public to help by calling the Tip line at 740-446-6555.
