Gallia Deputies Seize Drugs

On Friday April 10, 2009 Gallia County Deputies executed a search warrant at a

residence on State route 588 near Rodney. Gallia County deputies were able to

locate 95 Oxycontin tablets that law enforcement agents believe were intended

to be sold in Gallia County. Two suspects were taken into custody Kelly F.

Danburry 6662 St. Rt. 588 Gallipolis (Charged with probation violation) and

Kenneth L. Mannon age 51 6662 St. Rt. 588 (Charged with aggravated trafficking)

both subjects were lodged in the Gallia county jail. Gallia county Sheriff Joe Browning

commented that the operation was a “joint effort of local law enforcement agencies”.

The effort continues in Gallia County to counter rural prescription abuse and trafficking.  

Gallia County Sheriff’s Office is participating in the High Intensity Drug Trafficking

Areas task force.
