Gallia County Health District and Gallia County Sheriff's Office Team Up.

  Gallia County Sheriff Joe Browning along with Barbara Bradley, Director of Environmental

Health, wishes to thank everyone involved in the recent Scrap Tire Collection held at the

Gallia County Health District Office located at 499 Jackson Pike, Gallipolis, Ohio.   

  The Gallia County Sheriff’s Office provided a deputy and four volunteer inmates to assist

with the program which took in 1737 scrap tires at no charge to Gallia County residents.

  The program was so successful that another Tire collection has been tentatively set for

Nov. 07, 2009 from 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. at the Gallia County Health District Office located at

499 Jackson Pike, Gallipolis, Ohio.  Residents who have 100 tires or more to dispose of

may contact Barbara Bradley at (740) 441-2944 directly for free assistance from the

Environmental Protection Agency.
