On April 23rd, 2013 deputies with the Gallia County Sheriff’s Office were contacted by the Gallipolis Police Department regarding an ongoing investigation into drug activity near Walmart. During the investigation deputies were led to the residence of 103 McCully Road, Gallipolis, OH to conduct a search. During a search of the home deputies recovered heroin, methamphetamine, weapons, and cash proceeds from drug trafficking.

Charges are expected to be filed on two male suspects after consulting with the Gallia County Prosecutor’s Office. The anticipated charges with be drug trafficking, possession of drugs, and weapons under disability. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the investigation by the Gallipolis Police Department and the Gallia-Meigs Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
