Gallipolis Municipal Court - Bond Schedule / Bond Amounts

Gallipolis Municipal Court Bond Schedule

Margaret Evans - Judge

This bond schedule shall be effective September 6, 2005 at 12:01 A.M.

The bond schedule listed below is to be used for all offenses not specifically listed on the Violations Bureau list of costs/fines and cash bonds (both criminal and traffic).  This schedule does not represent the fine and costs but is the amount to be posted with the court during regular working hours or with the Gallipolis Police Department when the court is closed.  It is further noted that the criminal rules mandate that a 10% bond must be accepted at all times.  The Court, as provided in the criminal rules, charges a 10% bond must be accepted at all times.  The Court, as provided in the criminal rules, charges a 10% fee on the amount of cash deposited for 10% bond.  No fee is charged if the Violations Bureau schedules are not subject to 10% payment but are to be posted in cash if bond is required.  All officers should be familiar with Criminal rule 4 (A), 4(A) (3) I and 4 (F) which deal with pre arraignment release of defendants.
