The Gallia County Sheriffs Office is presenting Eddie Eagle gun safety programs to area youth groups. Please call 740-446-4617 if you have a group, church, school or civic organization that would be interested in he program. It usually takes about an hour to present to youth for grades K-3.
The Gallia County Sheriffs Office, along with the Buckeye Hills Career Center will host Gallia County’s annual “Farm Watch” meeting for members of the areas agricultural community. 2/6/13-The Gallia County Sheriff’s Office is advising that telephone service has been interrupted in the Bulaville Pike area between SR-160 and Oil Hollow Road. Unknown subjects cut the telephone line overnight. AT&T is on scene to make the repairs which will be later today. Deputies are investigating.

The Washinton County Sheriff’s Office says Joseph Hajj and James Moore wrote fraudulent checks to by a 2013 Ford Truck from Family Ford in Marietta on December 19. The check was written for over 52-thousa…nd dollars.
