Gallia County Sheriff's Office - Crime Watch

List of Meeting dates and Location for crime watch groups in Gallia County:

Bidwell Springfield Township crime watch meets at the Fire Station on SR 554 in Porter on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00PM

Cadmus- Walnut Township crime watch meets the second Monday of each month at the old Cadmus school on St. Rt. 141. The meeting starts at 7:00PM

Centerville The Raccoon Township crime watch meets the second Tuesday of the Month at 7:00PM at the Old Centerville School.

Gallia- Greenfield twp crime watch meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00PM at the Greenfield twp building near the fire station.

Gallipolis- the city wide neighborhood watch meets the first Monday of the Month at 7:00PM in the Gallipolis Municipal building meeting room.

Green Township- This area wide meeting is for all Green twp. residents. Currently the meeting will be held with Park lane crime watch on the third Tuesday at 6:00PM at the 911 center. Please call for more details (740-446-1242 ext 333)

Spring Valley & Park Lane- Meets the third Tuesday of the Month at the 911 center meeting room on St. Rt. 160 at 6:00PM

Vinton – Huntington and Morgan Twp. crime watch meets at the Vinton Village hall on Clay street next to the fire station off of SR 160.  Meeting starts at 6:00PM Refreshments provided. Third Thursday of the Month.

Crime Watch Meeting held

  A meeting sponsored by the Gallipolis Crime Watch group was held on April 20, 2009 at the Senior resource Center on State Route 160. The purpose of the meeting was to create a forum for Crime Watch members to talk with local elected official as well as Gallipolis Police Chief Clint Patterson and Gallia County Sheriff Joe Browning.

  Crime Watch will hold another meeting on Monday May 18, 2009 at the Senior Resource Center located on State Route 160. The topic for discussion will be Stalking and Domestic Violence.
