The Gallia
County Sheriff's Office is constantly exploring different avenues of
housing inmates and ways to save the Tax Payers of Gallia County money.
Often time due to overcrowding we are force to send other inmates to
facilities out of county other may qualify for house arrest. Starting on
October 2, 2003 The Gallia County Jail will implement a New "Pay for Stay"
Program for convicted inmate. These inmates will be billed $50.00 per day
and a one time $50.00 processing fee. Click here to read more about "Pay
