2/6/13-The Gallia County Sheriff’s Office is advising that telephone service has been interrupted in the Bulaville Pike area between SR-160 and Oil Hollow Road.  Unknown subjects cut the telephone line overnight.  AT&T is on scene to make the repairs which will be later today. Deputies are investigating.

The Washinton County Sheriff’s Office says Joseph Hajj and James Moore wrote fraudulent checks to by a 2013 Ford Truck from Family Ford in Marietta on December 19. The check was written for over 52-thousa…nd dollars. Gallia Deputies are searching for Joseph Christopher Hajj age 32 concerning a felony theft by bad check charge from Beckley, West Virginia (warrant). There are also similar charges pending in Ohio. Hajj is suspected of passing bad checks to obtain a 2012 Dodge truck in West Virginia. The truck was recovered in the quail creek mobile home area today by Gallia Deputies.
