Sheriff’s Deputies Investigate Death of Clay Twp. Man

Clay Twp. Gallia County, Ohio – The Gallia County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of 33 year old Zane  Taylor of 1841 St. Rt. 218 Gallipolis. On June 11, 2012 around 2:05pm Deputies responded to the scene of Mr. Taylor’s home after friends found him unresponsive and contacted Sheriff’s Dispatchers. Gallia County Sheriff Joe Browning says the circumstances around Mr. Taylor’s death are suspicious. The Gallia Co. Coroner Dr. Daniel Whitley has ordered the body to be sent to the Montgomery Co. Ohio Coroner’s Office for autopsy.

Sheriff Joe Browning further adds that “Sheriff’s Deputies along with Ohio BCI &I* agents have been questioning and interviewing associates of Taylor’s throughout the evening yesterday and have conducted a search at his home.” Sheriff Browning states that more information will be released pending the results of the autopsy.”
